At the door

Step-free

Level entrance from the lane. A lower stretch of counter. No customer toilet on site. Large-print menu if you ask Samira.

Dogs

Welcome in the front room. Water bowl by the coat hooks. Muddy paws stay on the floor, which is already floured, so we are not precious.

The counter

Order at the till, or collect a named bag if you used order-ahead. We call the name twice, then we eat it ourselves. That last part is a joke. Mostly.

Before you walk over

Can I bring a dog?

Yes, in the front room. There is a water bowl by the door. Paws stay off the banquettes if they are damp. We are soppy, not foolish.

Is there a step?

The door from Fennel Lane is level. The counter has a lower stretch. There is no customer toilet on site. The baby-change is at the library two streets over.

Do you take cards?

At the counter, yes, in this story. Order-ahead is pay when you collect. This website never asks for a card number.

Where do I wait if I ordered ahead?

There is a shelf just inside the door with the paper tickets. Say the name on the bag. If we are slammed, wave. We are not proud.

I build websites for cafes and bakeries.

A site like this one, shaped around your counter, your menu and the Saturday queue.
